Happy 2021 everyone! It has finally arrived and we made it through!

2020 may have been a strange and crazy year with the word 'unprecedented' being increasingly overused and the words 'new strain' and 'lockdown' being enough to send people into a frenzy of bulk buying toilet roll and food like the apocalypse was imminent, but that's not what this post is about. I'm here to focus on the achievements and projects of the year that has passed and to look ahead to a brand new year full of excitement and opportunity.

Let's take a brief look back at 2020 during which I completed projects in branding and merchandise design, alongside book illustration and custom illustration artwork. My work has been used across both print and digital and in a large variety of industries. Not only has it been an exciting year in terms of client projects, I have also in that time launched my website, started this blog and have begun test printing products that will be on the market soon.

In the 12 months that have passed I have grown not only my audience, but also my connections. I have had the opportunity to talk to and connect with incredible industry professionals and have enjoyed learning from their experience and knowledge. All of whom I look forward to working with more in 2021 which leads me on nicely to the year ahead for Betty Creative!

So the question is... 'What's in store for Betty Creative in 2021?'

2021 is ready and waiting to be made the most of and that is exactly what I plan to do! Without giving too much away about what to expect, this year will see a book illustration project I have been working on reach the next stage, more branding and advertising projects in addition to more custom artwork. There are a few top secret personal projects that I have got on the go too which will be announced throughout the year and of course the exciting projects and commissions that I look forward to getting from you all this year!

It is going to be a very busy year, full of hard work, but I cannot wait to take you all along for the ride, be it on my socials (make sure that you are following @BettyCreativeHQ across all socials so that you never miss an update) or here on my blog.
